Dipayan Sarkar
Co-Founder & Director
Dipayan provides strategic direction at Climate Praxis, scaling decentralised, climate resilient solutions through renewable energy and nature-based approaches. With over a decade in the development sector, he brings deep expertise in system design, sustainable technology, and energy access. His prior roles include Director of Business Development at Hasten Ventures and leadership of design, R&D, and policy at SELCO India. His work has spanned Asia and Africa, including mentoring cleantech entrepreneurs in West Africa and leading international collaborations on energy transitions. Dipayan holds degrees in Electronics & Communication Engineering and Energy Management. His contributions have been recognised with the Young Energy Professional of the Year (AEE, USA, 2021) and the BCCI Young Energy Researcher Award (2014).
Pratim Raha
Co-Founder & Director
Pratim leads Climate Praxis’ mission to transform bold climate ideas into scalable impact across the Circular Economy, DRE, and climate entrepreneurship. With over a decade in the development sector, he brings strong expertise in program management & implementation, clean-tech innovation, and cross-sector partnerships. He previously spearhead Villgro’s Waste to Value & Circularity practice and contributed significantly to SELCO Foundation’s pioneering work in decentralised energy access. His leadership spans national initiatives like the MoHUA-AFD Swachhata Startup Challenge and Sheltertech Accelerator. In 2021, Pratim was recognised as the Young Energy Professional of the Year (Asia Subcontinent) by AEE, USA. He remains deeply committed to advancing an inclusive, and regenerative transition.
